A report in the China Daily indicates that the Taliban mujahideen CENTRAL creating an army of monkeys. The story that appeared in July 2010 in China Daily suggested that the rebels use reward systems-and-punishment to train apes and baboons to target soldiers wearing US military uniforms.
Taliban allegedly "monkey taught how to use a Kalashnikov, Bren light machine guns and trench mortars." But a researcher who has spent his career studying the social life of non-human primates are very criticize on this story.
Chinese story quoted British journalist and an unnamed US military sources when discussing the idea of monkey rebels. In contrast, the US Stars and Stripes news sources interviewed a NATO spokesman who said the idea has no basis in reality.
